This is a pretty cool necklace, and it is definitely one-of-a-kind.  The grooves carved in the stick were made by bore beetles that live in and under the bark of trees. I found this gorgeous stick one day and knew it needed to be made into something stunning. 

It is bug-free now, by the way. 

I sealed the stick to keep the color variations bright. The leaves are cut out of leather by hand.
